Air Jordan’s newest sneaker, the Air Jordan 35 will be releasing in a special “Dynasties” theme that Inspired by Beijing's Forbidden City.
The Air Jordan 35 has not been on the market for a long time, but this sneaker has become popular and has attracted social attention. Now, the Jordan brand will be exclusively distributed in China through the "Dynasties" color scheme, using unique regional colors. This sneaker is inspired by the Forbidden City in the center of Beijing. Its bright colors of yellow, green, red and black represent good luck, imperial power and respect for the empire. This isn’t the first time Jordan Brand has paid homage to the Forbidden City either: August saw the release of an Air Jordan 7 “China” that was swathed in traditional Chinese artwork.
Crafted in tribute to the 600th anniversary of the Ming Dynasty landmark’s completion, the “Dynasties” combines a bold color scheme with intricate detailing.
This AJ35 takes aesthetic cues from the traditional Chinese architecture found in the the centre of Beijing. The red city walls, pillars, and palace gates reflect the idea of good luck, while the golden tiled roof is imbued with respect for the Emperor.
